Synticore Builder Guide - Example Project License Guide
Purpose
This page explains where to find the live license for the separate Synticore example-project repository.
Official License Page
Start with the official Synticore license page:
The example project no longer lives inside this compiler repository. Use the example repository's own license file as the source of truth.
Live example project:
Example Project Content License
Use the live example project's license file directly:
Do not rely on the old LICENSE_EXAMPLES file from this compiler repository. That file was removed because the example project now lives and is licensed in its own repository.
Trademark And Brand Reservation
The following are not granted for free reuse:
- "Cure Interactive"
- "Synticore"
- Related names, logos, icons, and brand identity assets
No trademark rights are granted by CC0 or GPL. You may not imply endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, or origin without permission.
Compiler Software License (Separate Scope)
The compiler repository/software itself is licensed under:
- GPL-3.0 (see root
LICENSE)
That applies to the compiler codebase (Gulp pipeline, source modules, tooling scripts), not automatically to your site output/content.
Practical Rule Of Thumb
When reusing files from the example project repository:
- Read the current example-project license from the example repository first
- Keep/reuse technical structure, templates, and code according to that license
- Replace brand names/logos/icons with your own identity
- Keep attribution optional unless your own project policy requires it
Optional attribution suggestions:
- "Built using Synticore Website Compiler by Cure Interactive."
- "Built using Synticore Website Compiler."
